10:34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a robbery The victim said three Hispanic males wearing masks robbed him at knifepoint in the 1000 block of East Main Street. This news report is made possible by:
10:11pm 2/19--Last night, a man called the dispatch center and reported that he just killed his 16 year-old daughter. Officers immediately responded to his apartment at 2292 Fairfield Ave, Second Floor.When they arrived, they found the caller, Richard Segabiro (DOB: 5/5/86), covered in blood and his niece, Francine Nyanzaninka, (who he raised as his daughter) dead in the bathroom of their apartment. She appeared to have been stabbed multiple times. Also in the home at the time of the homicide were Segabiro's wife and three young children, who were unharmed. Segabiro was arrested and later confessed to the stabbing. Segabiro is charged with Murder and is being held on a $1,000,000 bond. This is the 3rd homicide of 2018 in Bridgeport.
10:13pm—(2/19) Just after 10pm a man called the police that he had killed his sixteen-year-old daughter at 2292 Fairfield Avenue at the corner of Hansen Avenue. He told police on the phone that he had a knife and was waiting in the living room. When police arrived they found the man outside waiting for the officers and peacefully surrendered. They found the girl in the second-floor apartment dead in the bathroom. The family was still inside the apartment and was led away by detectives for questioning.
3: 34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A cable worker was shot in the leg after shots fired at Wood and Hazelwood Avenue.
