Westport News: Larceny Arrest
On 09/09/2017, officers were dispatched to Whole Foods on a report of a shoplifting. Store security reported that a woman hid several items in her purse, but paid for only one item at checkout before leaving the store. She fled when confronted by security who was able to provide officers with the license plate of the vehicle she was operating. Store security also recognized the suspect, identified as Brianna Pennell, as a woman who had been previously banned from all Whole Foods store locations. The investigating officer submitted an arrest warrant application for Pennell, which was later granted and signed by a judge. At approximately 11:45pm on 01/12/2018, the Norwalk Police Department contacted Westport headquarters and advised they had Pennell…

Tonight’s Vehicle Fire
11:50pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Today's vehicle fire was on Fairfield Avenue near Albion Street. A witness told me the car hit a tree in the road divider in front of Krausers a little over a half mile away before the car caught fire. A person in the nearby store helped put the fire out with a fire extinguisher. The fire department also used dry chemical extinguisher instead of water so there would be no freezing. Trumbull News: A Parent Saves Student With CPR
6:34pm--#Trumbull CT-- A fourteen-year-old student with a history of cardiac issues collapsed in the gymnasium at Trumbull Avenue at 72 Strobel Road. A parent wasted no time and provided CPR. When Trumbull EMS arrived they reported the girl was conscious and breathing. When I arrived the gym was empty and the trainer and coaches were afraid to talk to reporters.
