Escapee Wanted
Jerry Mercado is wanted for ESCAPE from a Carl Robinson Correctional Institution in Enfield on 1/7/18. Norwalk News: Fatal Motor Vehicle Crash
Norwalk CT--On January 8, 2017, at 10:11pm Patrol Officers responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash in front of 789 Connecticut Avenue. Arriving officers found two cars in the roadway with extensive damage. Two male occupants were found to be decreased in the vehicle and one male occupant was found with serious injuries in the other vehicle. The Norwalk Fire Department extricated all three males, one of which was transported to the Norwalk Hospital by Norwalk Hospital Emergency Medical Service. Connecticut Avenue remained closed for several hours while Norwalk Police Accident Investigators and the Crime Scene Unit processed the scene. The preliminary investigation indicates that both vehicles were traveling in opposite directions on Connecticut Avenue and had a head-on type collision.…

12:04pm--UPDATE: The suspect is in custody. The area schools were also in lock-in/lock-out. 11:30am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police just had a brief foot pursuit on Colorado and Denver Court. They lost him on Howard Court. They are looking for a white male, wearing jeans, boots, black jacket, reddish hair and light complexion. He fled after a traffic stop. Bridgeport News: 2 Unresponsive Males Rescued
6:01pm--#Bridgeport CT-- First responders called to City Hall Annex at 999 Broad Street for an unresponsive male in a snow bank turned out to be two unresponsive males. The first responders were leaving the scene as I arrived but it appeared that both males were responsive and were transported to the hospital. Please say a prayer for them and those that live out in the streets, and be thankful for our caring first responders!
