Stratford News: Narcotics/Firearms Arrest

#Stratford CT--During the month of October the Stratford Police Narcotics Unit began an investigation into alleged narcotics sales within the town. The subject of the investigation, George Siler age 27 of Stratford. According to information gained throughout the investigation Siler was providing low and mid lever dealers with Heroin. Investigators were able to obtain a search warrant for Siler’s residence located at 943 Success Avenue. The warrant was executed on 12-12- 2017 by members of the department’s Special Response Team and Siler was found to be in possession of two stolen handguns, heroin and packaging materials. Stratford News: Narcotics Arrest

#Stratford CT--On December 6 2017 Christopher Andujar and Angel Santiago, both of Bridgeport were arrested following a search warrant executions at a Main Street address and Priscilla Street residence in Bridgeport. The warrants were the result of an investigation conducted by the Stratford Police Narcotics Unit. Bridgeport TNT and Gang Unit assisted with the warrant executions. Both Andujar and Santiago were found to be in possession of a large quantity of Heroin and Cocaine. Over ½ a kilo of Heroin and approximately 160 grans of Cocaine and packaging materials was seized. K-9 Explosive Detection Graduation

State Police Canine Training Unit Graduated Eight K9 Teams in 190 th Explosive Detection Class Middletown, CT (December 8, 2017): The Connecticut State Police Canine Training Unit graduated eight K9 teams. The canine teams, five of which are Connecticut State Police, are all trained in explosive detection. Four of the Connecticut State Police K9 teams are assigned to the Mass Transit Unit and will patrol the train stations and trains from New Haven to New York. The fifth CSP team will remain at the Canine Training Unit and help with the training of future dogs.
