He said there are a number of people on the side of the road with flat tires, two with broken windshields and a crash and crash at exit 22 southbound. UPDATE: Police did confirm it was a man thrown into the water during a fight. Many of our viewers reported there was a large crowd in the area. Reports say the driver had no pulse when first responders got to him but they were able to get one after working on him. He is in critical condition and on his way to Yale New Haven Hospital via Lifestar. UPDATE: Additional reports say the truck ran off Route 8 onto Division Street off ramp.
