Bridgeport News: Arrest Made After Pursuit
2019-12-08-#Bridgeport CT-- Saturday night police were called to a home on Carleton Avenue for a domestic fight. The officer had been there before and was familiar with the suspect. Upon arrival the suspect took off and led the officer on a short pursuit which was called off as his identity was known. Around 1:30am the suspect returned to the address. 2019-12-08@ 10:15--#Bridgeport CT--Police say that in the 500th block of Arctic street one male victim was shot at least once in the chest. Victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time. Detectives are on scene investigating.

2019-12-07@10:44pm--#Fairfield CT-- A single vehicle accident, a pickup truck hit a utility pole at Cardinal Street and Lenox Avenue. The driver was transported to the hospital. On November 25th there was a rollover accident at the same intersection.

Firefighters were there on October 26th for a more extensive trash chute fire. There were no injuries in either incident.
