#Fairfield CT-- UPDATE from police on a report we were first to tell you about: On Monday 09/25/17 at 4:40pm, the Fairfield Police Dispatch Center received a 911 call from a customer at Bed Bath & Beyond who stated that she just exited the store and found a man lying in the parking lot, bleeding from his head screaming for help. Further investigation into the incident revealed that the victim, who works in a nearby business, was walking to his vehicle at the end of his workday and noticed someone inside of it. #Stratford CT--On September 21, 2017, The Stratford Police Department Narcotics, Vice & Intelligence Unit concluded a nearly year long narcotics sales investigation into Robert Heyward age 35 of Stratford, CT. Stratford Narcotics Detectives, with the assistance of the Bridgeport Tactical Narcotics Team and the CT State Police Gang Unit executed search and seizure warrants on Stratford and Bridgeport residences. Heyward fled the scene, engaging Officers in a vehicle pursuit. Heyward crashed his vehicle then fled the vehicle on foot where he was taken into custody after a foot pursuit. CT National Guard To Help Hurricane Victims

HARTFORD, CT) – Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that the State of Connecticut has deployed a C-130H cargo plane and seven Airmen from the 103rd Airlift Wing of the Connecticut National Guard to help with Hurricane Maria response and relief efforts in Puerto Rico and St. Thomas.  The unit, which departed from Bradley Air National Guard Base in East Granby this morning, includes C-130H pilots, crewmembers, loadmasters, and maintainers.   First, the crew will drop off supplies in St. Thomas, followed by a second supply drop-off in Puerto Rico.  From there they will fly to Georgia, where they will stand by for potential follow-up missions.   “The Connecticut National Guard has proven to be an exemplary group of men…
