UPDATE: Police confirm that at 11:23pm at 124 Seaside Avenue, the wife report that her husband was going to commit suicide and she fled to a neighbor's house with her two children. She told police he had a pistol permit and has guns. Officers reporting to the scene heard a shot from the house. A perimeter was set up and and neighboring homes were evacuated. A short time later the suspcet waled out of the house with his hands up and was taken into custody without incident. In a story we were first to report to you Friday night on June 16th, : #Fairfield CT-- Emergency Communications Center received a report of a male, later identified as Chris Pecora hitting people, yelling and screaming in the middle of the street. Pecora was then reported to be running from the area of Silliman St and Jennings Rd, possibly to his house on Rokoczy Ave. Christopher Pecora (DOB 1/7/96), 144 Rakoczy Ave, was arrested and charged with four counts of Assault in the 3rd Degree (53a-61) and one count of Breach of Peace in the 2nd Degree (53a-181) and was released on a $5,000.00 bond to appear in Bridgeport Superior Court, 172 Golden Hill St. on 6/19/17 at 0930 hours. 10:44pm--#Fairfield CT--…
Fairfield Fire Department UPDATE: FAIRFIELD, CT, 6/17/2017: On Friday June 16, 2017 at approximately 10:14 PM, the Fairfield Fire Department received a report of motor vehicle accident with injuries involving a commercial truck and several vehicles on I95 South between exit 19 and Exit 18. Additional information received during response indicated at least one person was trapped under a vehicle. When fire units arrived scene, they reported a multi vehicle accident with one occupant trapped under a AAA tow truck and another requiring extrication from a commercial truck. Fire crews from Fairfield and Westport immediately secured the scene and began the process of gaining access to and removing the two trapped occupants from in and under the vehicles. The condition…
7:44pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police are investigating a failed armed robbery at Eddie's Market at 2 Mill Hill Avenue by a heavy set Hispanic male who fled on foot down Barnum Avenue. According to police radio reports the bullet proof glass prevented the robbery. This news report is made possible by:
7:17pm--#Fairfield CT-- Police are investigating this crash at Kings Highway East at Longfellow Avenue between a BMW and a pickup truck. The pickup truck as you can see went up and into the hedges at Firestone.
#Fairfield CT-- On June 14th Dr. Duffy of the Norwalk Veterinary Hospital (left in the picture) and Sue Gabriel (in pink) present a check to the Fairfield Police K-9 Division. The women co-chaired a fund raiser on April 8th at St. Ann's Club in Norwalk to benefit both the Norwalk and Fairfield Police K-9 divisions. The presented a check for ten thousand three hundred and seventy two dollars and seven cents to Fairfield Police during the police commissioner meeting on June 14th.
