Wednesday, June 7th--#Fairfield CT--TV EYES of 1150 Post Rd called police to report an internet scan. They received an email from what appeared to be a known vendor including an invoice for $200,000. Upon closer examination, they discovered the email was fraudulent. No money was sent. The case was referred to the FBI.
9:00am--#Bridgeport CT-- Reports of shots fired near the Pep Boys on East Main Street behind Beardsley School. So far no one or anything reported hit. 8:39am--#Trumbull CT-- Police are looking for a suspicious vehicle with Florida registration. A dark colored sedan with a Jamaican male using a video camera allegedly recording children at the bus stops according to radio reports. 10:47pm--#Fairfield CT-- A two car crash I-95 northbound near the rest area near exit 22 with injuries reported.
7:35pm--#Fairfield CT-- A reported rollover accident on the Merritt Parkway southbound between exits 44 and 42. First responders on the way. This news report is made possible by:
2:15PMish-- Around 2:15pm the mail carrier informed firefighters that baby raccoons were inside the fire station bay at Fairfield Fire Station 2 on Jennings Road. One hid behind a soda and vending machine, the other in a corner just outside the bay doors. Animal control came to help trap raccoons. Animal Control Officer Miller said the mother raccoon is nocturnal and asleep and probably doesn't know the babies are missing. He said they will release them in the area later tonight and the mother will locate them.
3:18pm--#Stratford CT-- Stratford Police Chief McNeil confirmed that one person was shot in the foot at Woodend and Sedgewick Avenue. The two were on mopeds. Police said one was person was in custody and they were still searching for a second person. At 5pm it sounded like on radio transmissions that the second person was taken into custody but that has not been confirmed.
