Fairfield News: Officer Involved In Shooting Identified
Yesterday members of the Fairfield Police Department responded to a 911 call and found a violent situation occurring at a residence in town. As a result of the calls to 911, Officer Sean Fenton responded to the violent situation and fatally shot the offender. Officer Sean Fenton is a Veteran Officer who has served the community of Fairfield with distinction since May of 1990. Officer Fenton’s quick action in responding to this incident prevented further serious injury to family members. Per policy he has been temporarily reassigned from his patrol activities. Our Detective Bureau is working with the Ct State Police and the State’s Attorney’s Office from the Stamford/Norwalk district.
