Bridgeport News: Priest Fends Off Naked Man

12:11pm--#Bridgeport CT-- The church at the corner of Arctic and Kossuth Street reported a man broke down their front door.  At the time he had his pants on.  Radio reports say he was fighting with the priest and then fled down Kossuth towards Barnum Avenue where he was reported to be fully naked.  He may be under the influence of a narcotic.....Police finally get him contained near East Main Street.   This report is made possible by:

State Troopers Investigate Oxford Armed Robbery

Oxford, CT--(February 10, 2016): Troopers from Troop A-Southbury are investigating an armed robbery at the Sunoco Gas Station, 357 Oxford Rd. Oxford. On February 9, 2016 at approximately 10:30 p.m. Troopers responded to Sunoco Gas Station for a reported armed robbery. Upon arrival troopers spoke with store employees who stated the male suspect entered the gas station and demanded money from cash register. After receiving an undetermined amount of cash the male suspect fled the gas station on foot and headed South on Oxford Rd. No injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male approximately 5'10'' with a medium build. The suspect was last seen wearing a black coat over a dark gray hooded sweatshirt and a dark-colored mask or scarf over his face.…
