Fairfield News: Pedestrian Hit
3:35pm--#Fairfield CT-- A pedestrian was struck in front of the 16 Handles at 1300 Post Road. Police said the pedestrian was banged up but fortunately it was nothing serious. The driver of the black Audi remained on scene and cooperated with police. The accident investigator was called to the scene. Measurements were taken and the busy road was opened back up to traffic.

A social worker witnessed it and drove her back to school according to radio reports. Police are looking for a light skinned black male with a beard wearing a white t-shirt and a stock dark skinned black male wearing a black sweater.
