UPDATE: Road is being closed at Ripton Road. 2nd ambulance requested to the scene, one person is barely breathing according to the radio report. 5:30pm--#Shelton CT--First responders dispatched to 80 Mohegan Road for a one car accident into a utility pole. The driver is unconscious and unresponsive but breathing according to radio reports. This report is made possible by:
3:35pm--#Fairfield CT-- A pedestrian was struck in front of the 16 Handles at 1300 Post Road. Police said the pedestrian was banged up but fortunately it was nothing serious. The driver of the black Audi remained on scene and cooperated with police. The accident investigator was called to the scene. Measurements were taken and the busy road was opened back up to traffic.

5:40pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters are on scene at 54 Burnsford Street for what was thought to be a chimney fire turns out to be a wood stove over stuffed with newspapers producing embers. If it is really bad our sponsor can make it Like It Never Even Happened!
8:50am--#Bridgeport CT-- A Harding High School girl was followed by two males in an older white Honda Civic who tried to lure her into the car. A social worker witnessed it and drove her back to school according to radio reports. Police are looking for a light skinned black male with a beard wearing a white t-shirt and a stock dark skinned black male wearing a black sweater. The incident occured at Barnum Avenue at Willow Street. This report is made possible by:
2:32pm--#MTA--A viewer has messeged us that a MTA has announced two trains affecting Waterbury and Danbury lines over 200 passengers transferred at Rowyaton. No mention of this on the #MTA feed on Twitter but it does not appear that they use this feed for delays. This report is made possible by:
1:20pm--#Shelton CT--A report of a three car crash in front of Mario Daddario Nissan at 329 Bridgeport Avenue. First responders just arriving on scene. Two reported injured. This report is made possible by:
The Westport Fire Department responded to a Federal Express tractor trailer fire on I-95 North Exit 18 to 19 at 0524 hrs this morning. The driver of the tractor trailer was notified by another truck operator via CB radio of a fire around his right rear tire. The Fed Ex driver pulled over to the side of the road and attempted to put the fire out. The tire exploded and the fire extended to the trailer portion and storage area. Westport Fire Fighters extinguished the fire and were assisted by Fairfield Fire Fighters removing packages from the trailer and making sure all the fire was extinguished. The last Fire Fighting unit cleared the scene at 6:22am.(Westport Fire Department Press Release)
