Seymour News: Shots Fired On Route 8

1:31am--#cttraffic--#Seymour CT--Police are investigating a report of shots fired on Route 8.  According to scanner reports a car was hit with a victim at exit 22 and the car doing the shooting got off exit 21.  Police are looking for a silver Buick which fled towards Ansonia.  The "victim" at exit 22 is refusing medical treatment. ARRESTED: ESPINAL, Anthony DOB:11/29/78 of349 Hawley Ave Bridgeport, Ct CHARGE: MURDER The accused is being held on $250,000 bond to appear in Superior Court GA#2 Bridgeport on 12/24/14. State Police Press Release: On 12/18/14 approximately 11:20p.m. State Police Troop G received a 911 call from a witness who stated that two people were outside their vehicles on the Route 25/8, southbound Exit 5 off-ramp walking towards each other in an aggressive manner. Immediately after this 911 call Troopers received another 911 call from one of the people involved in the altercation. This caller stated that he was actively involved in an altercation with another male and he requested state police response. Fairfield Police Union Treats Seniors To Lunch

#Fairfield  CT--The Fairfiled Police Department's C.O.P.S. Union Local 550 waited on and treated over 150 seniors to lunch at the Senior Center on Mona Terrace last week.  The dinner consisted of salad, rolls, pasta and chicken.  Desserts were provided by Luigi's Bakery.  Lt. Keith Broderick told me that during the holidays everyone gets busy and there was a gap of over 6 years of doing this but "this our opportunity of giving back to the community" said Broderick.   Music was provided by the Fairfield County Chorale and the day ended with a visit from Santa!
