Fairfield News: Update on UI’s Tree Trimming Program

Bridgeport Police Make Arrest in December Fatal Hit-and-Run

#Bridgeport, Conn. (Jan. 14, 2015) – A 46-year-old city woman was arrested today in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on Dec. 4, 2014. Detectives arrested Patricia Daniels, 46, of Palisade Avenue in Bridgeport, on charges of second-degree manslaughter, risk of injury to a minor and evading responsibility. Her bond was set at $150,000. The incident happened at about 6:30 a.m. in the 1100 block of Boston Avenue. The victim, Evelyn Agyei, 51, was driving with her 11-year-old son in the back seat of a Subaru Outback when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree. Agyei died from her injuries.
