Fairfield News: Gun Sets State Police on Alert
3:03am--#Fairfield CT--A man walks into the Fairfield southbound rest area on the Merritt Parkway. He gets out, makes a purchase and goes back into his black Porsche. The attendant calls state police that he thinks he has a gun at his waist. He made no threat, made his purchase and went back to his car. Attendant apparently isn't aware of the open carry law is still legal in this state. State Police is on the way. UPDATE: He was a New York State Policeman.
