The victim, a 20-year-old city man, stated that he stopped at the intersection of Wood Avenue and Olive Street when a male with a gun got into his passenger seat and demanded his possessions. Officer Peter Billings responded to K & H Market, 1309 Fairfield Ave., on a report of a disturbance. Police found the store manager and a second person detaining the suspect, Brandon Boone, 39, of Bridgeport, who had an injury to his head. Police were told that Boone entered the store at about 11 p.m. and purchased a box of spaghetti. He then loudly complained that the cost was too high.
