Shots were fired after a botched robbery attempt. They fled on foot down Queen Street towards Park Avenue towards Fairfield. Heavy police presence from both Fairfield and Bridgeport in the area. Shell casing found in the 800 block of Queen Street. 1:39pm--UPDATE--They got them on Alexander Drive! 2 in a row for Bridgeport Police Department!! Fairfield has another stopped on Park Avenue in an orange hoodie.

#Bridgeport, CT – Dec. 4, 2013 – A 23-year-old man was charged with home invasion in connection with an incident in which a 78-year-old man was accosted in his apartment Tuesday. Officer Michael Murcko met with the victim, who stated that he was inside his apartment at 140 Fairfield Ave. when someone knocked on the door. Two men forced their way in and bound his legs and feet. He stated that the men demanded and stole cash. Detectives Jorge Cintron and Todd Hoben responded to the scene. Based on information from the patrol division and security footage, they determined that the victim arrived home shortly before noon. The two suspected robbers arrived about five minutes later and attempted to gain entry through the security door.…

The Westport Police Department is asking for help locating Robert Brannigan (age 85). Brannigan may be confused and disoriented. He has been missing since approximately 0930 hrs this morning when he left his residence in Westport, CT. He is believed to be operating a 2006 Gray Saab, CT REG 485UYZ. Brannigan is 5’9” tall, 140lbs, gray hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black sweat pants, an off-white fisherman’s sweater, and a black vest. If anyone has any information to assist in the location of Brannigan, please contact the Westport Police Department at 203-341-6000.

1:01pm--#Bridgeport CT--A woman coming home saw two teen males run out of her house in the 100 block of Soundview Avenue with cash and jewelry. They fled towards Sylvan Avenue. Police are investigating.
