Domestic Argument Has Fire Responders Busy
1:01am--#Bridgeport CT--We don't normally report on domestic arguments but there is one that has first responders busy tonight on North Summerfield Avenue. Firefighters were called to assist police to gain entry into a residence where there is heavy water flow and they are fearful of ceiling collapse.
Playground At Pumpkin Preschool Smashed By Car
10:10pm--#Fairfield CT--Students at Pumpkin Preschool at 449 Grasmere Avenue will learn the lesson of safe driving when they find their playground smashed by a woman who lost control of her car and smashed into the equipment. The woman was taken into custody and police will investigate if alcohol was a factor.
Bridgeport Fire
11:12pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters were quick to the scene at 32 Somers Street and extinguished a fire on the 3rd floor roof in front of a window. Everyone evacuated from the building safely and firefighters had it extinguished in minutes. The overhaul of the fire did reveal burning embers underneath the soffit. The fire marshal was requested to the scene to investigate the cause of the blaze.
