6:23pm--#Stratford CT--Firefighters and the zodiac being dispatch on Housatonic River near Short Beach for a sailboat that had a fire on board, the fire is now reported to be out. There is one adult and four children, all have life preservers on. The children are now complaining of feeling sick now. Stratford Firefighters update: At approximately 18:49 E3, E1, L1, and C3 were dispatched to the Housatonic River, in the area of Short Beach, for a boat in distress. Reported to be a fire on a sailboat that is now out. 5 souls on board. E1 and L1 staffed Marine Rescue 1. E3 and C3 were located at Short Beach for visuals and coordination.
