10:23pm--#Fairfield CT #cttraffic--I-95 is closed at exit 24 due to a serious accident in the southbound lane where the cyclist has suffered an amputated leg in the accident. He is in serious condition. UPDATE--Sad to report the man has passed. No word on his identity at this time.

Man, Juvenile Charges After Melee
(Bridgeport, CT – May 10, 2013) – A 37-year-old man faces threatening and child endangerment charges after a dispute with a neighborhood youth led to a bicycle- and chair-throwing armed encounter. Police Officer Cristina Arroyo was called to the 100-block of Pennsylvania Ave. Thursday afternoon on a report of an armed fight. Everybody had separated by the time police had arrived. A woman told police that her son and another juvenile were involved in an argument and that Ramon Feliciano, a neighbor, intervened. The other juvenile left but Feliciano went inside his house and retrieved a steak knife, the woman said. Her son then went into their house and retrieved a steak knife of his own.
