Fairfield News: House Fire
2020-06-24@5:20pm--#Fairfield CT--#ctfire-- Firefighters were met with heavy fire coming from the right side on the second at a home on Shoreham Terrace. Firefighter quickly knocked down the heavy fire but it took them almost an hour to put out all the hot spots. The fire also extended into the attic. There were no reported injuries and the fire marshal was called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire.

The program provides free help for Connecticut’s low-income and ALICE families to file tax returns, allowing them to receive tax credits and Coronavirus economic impact checks and to file for Pandemic Unemployment Assistance (PUA) benefits. All residents making up to $56,000 in income are eligible for the services. #Norwalk CT-- Here is more info on that carjacking we reported the moment it happened: The Detective Bureau is investigating a carjacking that occurred in the area of Ward Street and Random Road. An EverReady Taxi Cab was hijacked by a passenger who was armed with a handgun. The suspect was described as a black male 5’9” weighing 200lbs, approximately 50-years old, wearing a black short-sleeved shirt with a “Batman” symbol, blue jeans, a black baseball cap, and black shoes. A motor vehicle accident was discovered by officers at this location with the victim seated in the driver’s seat, suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to Bridgeport Hospital and then transferred to Yale-New Haven Hospital where his condition is listed as critical, but stable.
