Fairfield News: Manhunt On The Beach Suspect Captured
2020-05-17@12:04am--#Fairfield CT-- A "disagreement" between college students leads to an arrest on Fairfield Beach Road. Police said when the attempted to speak with the suspect he fled leading a short manhunt in the 1000 block of Fairfield Beach Road. He was captured a short time later.
Bridgeport News: Pedestrian Hit-Seriously Injured
There is no police report completed at this time however; what the preliminary report from ECC indicates a pedestrian came into the roadway and a vehicle struck him. The driver stayed on-scene the injuries were non-life threatening. Again all according to the ECC Report, which is preliminary information. Once PD completes their report I will get it over to you. 2002-05-16@9:04pm--#Bridgeport CT--A pedestrian was hit on Boston Avenue near Central Avenue and appeared to be unconscious and in serious condition. There did not appear to be any striking vehicle on the scene.

8:38pm--UPDATE: The kayaker and kayak have been safely recovered by Fairfield Fire led by Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola. 2020-05-16@8:25pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters on the way to Penfield Lighthouse for a kayaker who overturned.
