Fire On The Roof!
Report of a fire on the roof of the Barnes & Noble on Post Road East in Westport. Firefighters arrived on scene to a fire on the roof with HVAC workers working on the scene. The fire spread down the siding and they're currently working to put out the fire.
Chicken Coop Fire
Report of a chicken coop fire on the 100 block of Alpine Street in Bridgeport. Firefighters arrived on scene and quickly put out the fire, which at that point extended to the garage. No report on if there are any injuries, either person or chicken.
Brush Fire Behind Marshall’s
Large brush fire reported behind Marshall's on the Post road in Milford. Firefighters are on scene, and it's possibly a homeless encampment.

Bridgeport News: Another Pedestrian Struck
Police said: On Friday February 17, 2023 at 19:20hrs the Bridgeport ECC received a call from an AMR crew reporting a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained on-scene. Victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Bridgeport News: Rollover Accident
2023-02-11@2:34pm--#Bridgeport CT-- A pickup truck flipped over in a crash at Lafayette and Gregory Street. The driver was transported to the hospital with unknown injuries. Neighbors complained that the situation is due to there being only one stop sign on Gregory Street and that people often drive at high rates of speed on Lafayette Street. https://youtu.be/Rf6UfiBHa8A
Chief Porter Holds Press Conference for February 6th Homicides
Bridgeport, CT – This afternoon, a press conference was held to discuss the two homicides that took place during the afternoon and evening hours of Tuesday, February 6th, 2023. Although unrelated, both homicides took place within a seven-hour span. The Bridgeport Police Department currently has additional officers on patrol for the remainder of the week to ensure the safety of Bridgeport residents that live in the areas of which the two homicides took place. The two victims of the February 6th homicides were identified as 26-year-old Tyheem Scales from Naugatuck, CT and 35-year-old Tyeshon King of Bridgeport, CT. Bridgeport Police Department says that there is no connection between the two homicides, but efforts are being made to resolve the shootings that occurred.…
