Child left unattended, shoplifting, drinking and crack pipe

#Westport CT--#Bridgeport CT--On 12/04/2013, Eleanor Cobb of Bridgeport, CT was arrested after officers were dispatched to a report of a child left unattended in a motor vehicle. A four year old child was located in the vehicle while Cobb was shopping in a nearby store. Cobb admitted she had been drinking and had a “crack pipe” in the vehicle. Officers learned that she had also shoplifted from Walgreen’s. Cobb was charged with 53-21 Risk of Injury to a Minor, 53a-125b Larceny 6th, and 21a-267(a) Possession of Drug paraphernalia. Cobb was released after posting $5,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court at 0930 hours on 12/13/2013.

High School students can submit applications for consideration  BRIDGEPORT, CT (December 10, 2013) — Mayor Bill Finch today announced that he is accepting applications for the 2014-2015 Mayor’s Youth Council. The new initiative provides youth a chance to learn about and participate in local government while serving in an advisory capacity to the Mayor on youth issues. Demolition begins at former Remgrit site
