Bridgeport Police Investigate 11th Homicide
3:03am–#Bridgeport CT–Police investigating the 11th homicide of the year in front of the Mainport Fish and Chips at 1010 North Avenue. Witnesses say a group of men were arguing and one shot was shot to the man’s head at point blank range. The victim was rushed to St. Vincent’s where he was pronounced dead.

2:45am–#Bridgeport CT–Report of a rollover with entrapment on Stratford Avenue near Florence Street. First responders on the way. UPDATE–No entrapment, pick up truck on its side.
Smoke Condition in Bridgeport Home
10:39pm–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters are on scene at 376 Priscilla Street for smoke in a basement and odor of burning, no visible fire. They are investigating. 10:48pm–UPDATE–Firefighters discover a fire in the rafters and they have extinguished it.
Gas Station Robbed At Gunpoint
9:02pm–#Bridgeport CT–The BP gas station at Fairfield and Clinton Avenue was just robbed at gunpoint. Two suspects fled north on Elmwood Place which directly across the street from the gas station. I hope they smiled, it was caught on video.

11:42am–#Bridgeport CT–Firefighters on scene at Beardsley Park near White Plains Road of a brush fire which they are taking care of.
Car hits tree
10:32pm–#Bridgeport CT–A car has hit a tree in the 400 block of Gilman Street. First responders on the way.
Woman Abducted from Stratford Motel
9:01am–#Stratford CT–#Bridgeport CT–A woman staying at the Honeyspot Motel on Honeyspot Road in Stratford was taken against her will by “two very large men” driving a older model white Cadillac. according to radio reports. Bridgeport Police were receiving 911 calls that the car was in two different locations off East Main Street. Each time they responded the car was not located. The third call was the charm when the located the car in front o f 445 Connecticut Avenue. No mention of the suspects, the woman was located and EMS was called to evaluate her. Both Stratford and Bridgeport are working together at the scene.

7:57pm–#Bridgeport CT–A woman went to use the bathroom at Magic Nails on Salem and Main Street and found out the employees locked her in for the night and the alarm is going off.
