First responders were called to Stop & Shop at 200 East Main Street in Stratford for a report of two unresponsive people. Upon arrival, responders located one allegedly intoxicated male inside the store and another male outside who was reported to be suicidal. Both individuals were attended to by emergency personnel. Norwalk firefighters responded to an apartment building after high carbon monoxide levels were detected. Crews located a possible furnace issue believed to be the source of the carbon monoxide. Police UPDATE: The department can confirm that on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at approximately 3:20 PM that Trumbull Police and EMS responded to 155 White Plains Road for a tree cut accident that resulted in the death of a sixty-six-year-old male. Trumbull Police and EMS arrived at the scene minutes after receiving the initial 911 call, but the male had succumbed to his injuries suffered by a large tree branch.Emergency responders were called after a man was fatally injured in a tree-related accident on White Plains Road in Trumbull. A water main break at Imperial and Baker is believed to have activated about a dozen water-flow alarms in the area around 6:45pm. Firefighters checked each location and confirmed they were false alarms caused by the pressure change.
