4:38pm--#Fairfield CT--Firefighters are on the scene at 80 Longfellow Avenue for a large leaking propane tank. Neighbors said they smelled gas on and off all weekend. A representative from Southern Connecticut Gas traced the odor to the tanks. Thanks to Carol for letting me on her porch to take the photos!
4:12pm--#Fairfield CT-- report of smoke coming out of the back window of a grey house at Old Field Road and Old Post Road. Firefighters are on the scene.
1:46pm--#Fairfield CT-- Report of a motor vehicle accident on 1444 Stillson Road.
2:08pm--#Fairfield CT-- Report of a 3 car accident near the intersection of the Post Road and Bungalow Avenue. There are no reported injuries, but there is a fluid spill, so be prepared for traffic!

3:21pm--#Fairfield CT--Water main break in the 300 block of Rowland Road.
2:37am--#Fairfield CT--Two attempted break ins in the same area. One on Rena Place and another within minutes on Toilsome Hill Road. Police are on scene investigating. UPDATE--Bridgeport has ransacked vehicles on Ruth, Queen, Thorme and Clarke Streets. They must have a "jimmied" because there is no damage to the locks according to police. These break ins occured on the side roads off northern Park Avenue.
FAIRFIELD, CT, December 3, 2013: At 7:07pm on Tuesday night the Fairfield Emergency Communication Center received a 911 call reporting an attached garage fire with no car inside at 271 Shady Hill Road, followed shortly thereafter by another call from a neighbor reporting “a major fire next door”. Fairfield Fire Engines 1, 2, 3, 5, Ladders 1, 2, and Car 3 responded, with Car 3 first on the scene at 7:12pm confirming the garage “fully engulfed in flame” with all occupants out of the house and calling for a fifth Engine. Engine 2 and Ladder 2 arrived shortly thereafter and stretched hoselines to the garage, knocking down the main body of fire in the garage which was fueled by several propane tanks that had started…
