8:41pm–#Stratford CT–The Subway at 1140 Main Street was just robbed at gunpoint by a Hispanic male, medium build, about 5’10” wearing a black winter cap and a black and green jacket. Unknown if he fled in a vehicle. Police are investigating.

9:00am–#Milford CT #Bridgeport CT– Earlier today, at around 8:30am, the G E Credit Union on Bic Drive was robbed by a man who displayed a semi automatic handgun. The two robbers fled in a 4 door Accord, and were last seen in Bridgeport.

3:16pm–#Bridgeport CT– Report of a street robbery on Madison Avenue near Catherine Street. The robber was a teenager in a green hoody, he had a black 9mm handgun.
Assault Investigation
3:21am–#Bridgeport CT–Police are sorting out an assault that took place in the 200 block of Jones Avenue. Possibly 2 male suspects, one with a gun who assaulted a woman. This sounds like one that will take a while to be sorted. You count on us to tell you what is happening. Not a lot of details beyond this report. Armed robbery by teens
10:17pm–#Bridgeport CT–A woman was held up at gunpoint by two teens, one had a silver handgun at the corner of Madison Avenue and Madison Court. The woman was two houses from home.
Two Men Charged With Illegal Possession of an Assault Weapon
#Bridgeport CT – Dec. 3, 2013- – Police arrested two men who were on probation after discovering an assault rifle and a high-capacity magazine in their North Avenue apartment.
Bridgeport Police assisted the state Office of Adult Probation Monday in conducting a “compliance check” on the residence of Giovanni Candelario, 20, who is on supervised release. A relative, Ramon Candelario, 23, who also resides at that address, also is on supervised release.
According to Detective Sanford Dowling, authorities recovered the SKS 7.62 X 39mm rifle inside a closet behind a furnace duct blower. Also recovered was a 100-round magazine that contained 95 .233-caliber rounds. Authorities recovered other weapon-related items.
Both men were charged with criminal possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of an assault weapon. Their bonds were set at $100,000 each.
Bridgeport Police Investigate 11th Homicide
3:03am–#Bridgeport CT–Police investigating the 11th homicide of the year in front of the Mainport Fish and Chips at 1010 North Avenue. Witnesses say a group of men were arguing and one shot was shot to the man’s head at point blank range. The victim was rushed to St. Vincent’s where he was pronounced dead.
Man with a gun in a diner
1:39am–#Fairfield CT–Police are on the scene at Athena Diner, 3350 Post Rd for a patron who took out a handgun and placed it on his table freaking out patrons. Police are questioning two men, checking their backgrounds, neither have warrants.

On March 29, 2013 at 1:41 am the Fairfield Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call from a complainant at Athena Diner 3350 Post Road Southport, CT.
Rahul Taylor, (D.O.B. 12/5/83) of 35 Treadwell Avenue, Westport, CT, was arrested and charged with three counts of Threatening 1st Degree, Reckless Endangerment, Breach of Peace and Carrying a firearm under influence of alcohol/drugs after he was intoxicated inside the Athena Diner 3350 Post Road and displayed a loaded handgun which threatened three people to fear for their safety.
Taylor was located sitting in a booth with a friend at Athena Diner when officers located him and asked if he had a gun in his possession, which Taylor replied no. Taylor appeared to be intoxicated and admitted to drinking alcoholic beverages. A Sgt. asked Taylor a second time if he had a gun, and again the reply was no. Taylor was then asked to get up from his seat as he got up, Taylor reached to the right side of his body and the Sgt observed a gun in his waistband. The Sgt. immediately grabbed Taylor’s wrist and removed a loaded, .45 caliber Inter Arms pistol from Taylor’s possession. Witnesses reported Taylor was arguing with a friend when he took his loaded weapon and placed it on the table causing patrons in the diner to fear for their safety.
Taylor was taken into custody transported to headquarters and processed a $50,000 bond was assigned with a court date of 4/9/13. Taylor had a valid pistol permit which was seized for the State of Connecticut Firearms Review Board.
The investigation revealed that Taylor owns two shot guns and the case remains active as detectives attempt to locate and seize those weapons as well.
Gun Pulled On Walgreens Employee
2:43am–#Bridgeport CT–A man known to the employees at Walgreens at 960 North Avenue got into an argument with them and pulled a gun on the employees. The man fled the scene . Police are investigating.
