ARRESTS MADE IN CONNECTION WITH ARMED ROBBERY AND HOME INVASION

FAIRFIELD, CT – Multiple individuals have been arrested in connection with an armed robbery and home invasion that occurred in the early morning hours of February 19, 2026, in the area of Candlewood Road in Fairfield. The following individuals were charged in connection with this incident. Each was charged with Home Invasion, Robbery in the First Degree with a Deadly Weapon, five (5) counts of Unlawful Restraint, and two (2) counts of Risk of Injury to a Minor. Officers responded just before 2:30 AM on Thursday, February 19, 2026 to reports of an armed robbery and possible home invasion. Police quickly secured the victims and initially detained one suspect, while another person of interest was later located in Hamden. #Bridgeport CT--The Bridgeport Police received a 911 call at 0909hrs on a preliminary report of a burglary in progress I the 600th block of Brooks St. BPD units were dispatched and on-scene reports indicated a home invasion took place with a woman and her two children home. The male parties displayed a firearm and fled the residence with the female’s cellphone. AMR was dispatched to the scene for evaluation of any injuries. This is an active investigation at this time.
