Man Flees After Police Find Drugs in Car

(Bridgeport, CT – March 27, 2013) – A city man was jailed on $50,000 bond after a motor vehicle stop netted narcotics. Officers Angel Vazquez and Keith Hanson were patrolling in the Safe School Corridor near Bassick High School Tuesday when they were alerted by Officer Adam Roscoe, who is assigned to the DEA Task Force, about a vehicle that made a suspiciously brief stop at a house on Sherwood Avenue. Police had information about heroin being sold out of the location. Vazquez and Hanson spotted the Infiniti coupe and conducted a motor vehicle stop. Rose Shea, 25, of East Haven was driving.
