1 Of The White Gloved Bandits Arrested Tonight

10:27pm--#Stratford CT--#Bridgeport CT--Just before 10:30 Tuesday night the I&I Food Store located at 1796 Barnum Avenue was robbed by what police call the White Gloved Bandits because well, they both wear all black except for white gloves.  The duo have been terrorizing and robbing businesses in Bridgeport and just recently in Stratford for a couple of months now. Outstanding coordination  by both Stratford and Bridgeport Police and detectives had an arrest by 11pm.  The suspect was arrested outside 272 Benham Avenue in Bridgeport.

White Gloved Bandits Strike Again

10:27pm--#Stratford CT--The I&I Food Store at 1796 Barnum Avenue was just hit by the "White Gloved" Bandits.  A gun was displayed.  Bridgeport Police are working with Stratford Police and detectives since many of the robberies have happened in Bridgeport by the duo.  They are called the White Gloved Bandits because they wear all black but they wear white gloves.

1:47am--#Stratford CT--Report of a rollover accident on James Farm Road and Chapel Street.  First responders on the way.   UPDATE---Hmmm, no one in the car.  UPDATE--The car was registered to an address on Candlewood Road right up the street.  The driver admitted to police to driving the car.   That's good because K-9 was going to find him anyways.

Pursuit ends in crash

11:30pm--#Straford CT #Bridgeport CT--Stratford Avenue Police in pursuit of a car on Connecticut Avenue now on Orange Street near Wilmont where the suspect crashed into a utility pole.  Police were just out at the Honeyspot Motel where she was arguing with another woman who is still at large in Stratford.

Woman Abducted from Stratford Motel

9:01am--#Stratford CT--#Bridgeport CT--A woman staying at the Honeyspot Motel  on Honeyspot Road in Stratford was taken against her will by "two very large men" driving a older model white Cadillac.  according to radio reports.  Bridgeport Police were receiving 911 calls that the car was in two different locations off East Main Street.  Each time they responded the car was not located.  The third call was the charm when the located the car in front o f 445 Connecticut Avenue.  No mention of the suspects, the woman was located and EMS was called to evaluate her.  Both Stratford and Bridgeport are working together at the scene.
