File 14-44646--Arrested:  Edwin Ortiz  10/29/92 for Larceny 4th 53a-125. Brigeport Police stopped the vehicle after Fairfield Police  broadcasted  the theft The skis taken from the Vehicle in the Southport Brewing Company  lot were recovered inside the vehicle. Only one suspect was located in the vehicle. The vehicle was towed and impounded at the Fairfield Police Department. 12:02am--UPDATE: ARREST MADE:  The info I was holding back on was the description of the suspects car and the plate number.  Fairfield Police traced it back to Trumbull Avenue in Bridgeport, working with Bridgeport Police made an arrest and the suspect's car had the stolen items inside their car. 10:39pm--#Fairfield CT--A number of cars were just broken into in the 2600 block of the Post…

2:40am--#Westport CT--Alan Alexis, 22, of Stratford, was pronounced dead at Norwalk Hospital when he crashed on I-95 northbound near exit 17.   State Police said he was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.  Photo provided by Robbie Vega.
