Bridgeport News: 15 and 18 Year Old Shot Overnight

#Bridgeport CT--In a story we were first to report to you last night at 1:48am a police officer working on James Street heard shots being fired in the Greene Homes area. After investigation shell casing were found on Highland Avenue, and 79 Highland Avenue was hit by a stray bullet. A short time later St. Vincent’s Hospital called police to report two gunshot victims were driven to the hospital , the driver of the car then fled the hospital after dropping off the two victims. Police have identified the two victims as fifteen year old Andrew Velasquez and 18 year old Shaquille Andrews. Both were shot with non life threatening injuries. The victims confirmed they were shot on Highland Avenue.…
