UPDATE: Bridgeport Police Report:  At 4:27PM this afternoon, it was reported to the Bridgeport Police Department that a body was found in the water near the intersection of Knowlton St. and Arctic St.

Shortly thereafter, the Bridgeport Fire Department retrieved the deceased from the water.

According to a police press release: There was no trauma found to the body of the 33 year-old male who was wearing an orange shirt, blue jeans, boxers, tan belt, and a baseball cap.
No cause of death has been determined at this time.

4:22pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating a body found in the Pequonnock River near Knowlton Park at Knowlton Avenue and Arctic Street.  Police activity seemed to be closer towards Maple Street than the busy park.  As soon as I get a press release I’ll update you.
