6:22pm–#Fairfield CT–Police entered pursuit with shoplifters from Bed Bath and Beyond onto I-95 northbound with speeds around 65mph but the driver of the S-10 Chevy pickup with North Carolina plates got off exit 26 where Fairfield Police ended the pursuit. The suspects reportedly were throwing the stolen merchandise out the window on the highway according to radio reports.   This was Fairfield’s 2nd pursuit of shoplifters within the hour.
