The driver exited the highway and crashed at Railroad and Iranistan Avenue. Unconfirmed reports say the suspect was allegedly in a stolen car and the driver then fled on foot behind the houses on Iranistan Avenue. The driver had struck another vehicle killing him. A person on a bicycle was also struck pinning him against the guy wire from a utility pole causing a lower leg amputation to the victim. Bridgeport Police spokesperson Av Harris said two pedestrians were hit and badly injured. He confirmed there was one fatality but it could be more.
