Bridgeport New: Parking Ban Lifted

Bridgeport, CT – The City of Bridgeport snow emergency parking ban is lifted as of today, January 8, 2018. The City of Bridgeport Department of Public Facilities continues to plow city roads. They will use all their resources in responding to tickets uploaded on Bridgeport 311.  As of today, all streets have been plowed.  Residents can expect crews and loaders to be out all week throughout the City for additional cleanup, especially on secondary roadways and cul-de-sacs that proved to be especially challenging due to abandon vehicles or vehicles that did not adhere to the parking ban.   Plowing Residents can report plowing or any other related issues or concerns on Bridgeport 311 or by calling 203-576-7124.   Sanitation and Recycling Collection Sanitation and Recycling Collection has…

Bridgeport News: Foot Pursuit-Manhunt

12:04pm--UPDATE: The suspect is in custody. The area schools were also in lock-in/lock-out.   11:30am--#Bridgeport CT-- Police just had a brief foot pursuit on Colorado and Denver Court.  They lost him on Howard Court.  They are looking for a white male, wearing jeans, boots, black jacket, reddish hair and light complexion.  He fled after a traffic stop.  If see him or see someone or if you live in the area and see someone matching that description running in your backyard call police. Bridgeport News: 2 Unresponsive Males Rescued

6:01pm--#Bridgeport CT-- First responders called to City Hall Annex at 999 Broad Street for an unresponsive male in a snow bank turned out to be two unresponsive males.  The first responders were leaving the scene as I arrived but it appeared that both males were responsive and were transported to the hospital.  Please say a prayer for them and those that live out in the streets, and be thankful for our caring first responders!
