Bridgeport News: 14 Year Old Arrested After Pursuit Wanted For Home Invasion With Gun, Stolen Car

#Bridgeport CT-- Today police located a tan Buick that was stolen with keys from Waverly Place overnight during a home invasion. Police this morning located the vehicle at Park and Washington Avenue. Police coordinated additional police cars in an attempt to stop safely the vehicle but the vehicle took off on them. The vehicle ran through the Hollow section of town to downtown to Black Rock where the pursuit came to an end on Grovers Avenue. The suspect, a fourteen-year-old boy had hit a garage and then fled on foot. Police had quickly apprehended the juvenile in a backyard. No weapon was located but he had crack cocaine in his pockets. Westport News: Multiple Charges

#Westport CT--On 06/22/2018 at approximately 7:00pm, officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at Starbucks. Upon arrival, officers learned the suspect attempted to go to a second floor storage area. When he was told by employees the area was not for customers, he began screaming at the employees and refused to leave after multiple requests to do so. At one point, he was reported to have lunged over the counter at employees. The suspect left the scene when police were contacted. Officers located the suspect, identified as Carl Nicolas, a short distance away. Nicolas struggled with officers who attempted to detain him. Bridgeport News: Mayor/City Make $ Contributions To City Sports

Bridgeport, CT – In an ongoing effort to support the City’s youth sports programs, Mayor Ganim and the City of Bridgeport donated $8,000 to go towards sports equipment for student-athletes in Bridgeport’s Public High Schools.
