Bridgeport News: Car Hits 2 Cars Then Steps To Home

9:38pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Witnesses told me that the driver of the dark green SUV was traveling down Madison Avenue when it all of a sudden turned hard onto Wayne Street and into the front lawn of a home, hitting two cars parked there then came to a stop after hitting the steps of the home. 7:16pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters were called to Ever Read/Road Ready (listed as both in Google) at 881 Reservoir Avenue for a fire in the garage. On arrival, firefighters reported heavy rolling fire out of two of the garage bays. They went to work on it and quickly had it under control. There was one reported civilian with minor injuries. Bridgeport News: Arrest Made In Today’s Homicide

On January 27, 2019 at 0902 hours, several shots were fired in front of the Citgo gas station located at 915 Reservoir Avenue, Bridgeport. A 50-year-old male was struck by gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene. Detectives processed a crime scene at this location, including the recovery of a handgun that the victim possessed at the time of his death. Detectives quickly developed a suspect in this homicide, and at approximately 1300 hours today, Jayvell Washington (2/11/79) was taken into custody in front of 312 Fairview Avenue after he was dropped off by two other males in a rental car.
