FAIRFIELD CONTINUES EXPANDED OUTDOOR DINING AMID PANDEMIC

#Fairfield CT--First Selectwoman Brenda L. Kupchick announced today that the Town of Fairfield is allowingfor the continued expanded outdoor dining accommodations for restaurants and food serviceestablishments effective immediately.The announcement comes on the heels of Governor Lamont lifting capacity restrictions inrestaurants, among other businesses, last Friday, March 19, 2021. While the Governor hasremoved capacity limits at restaurants, there will still be an 11 pm curfew and an eight-persontable limit. BLUMENTHAL DEMANDS NHTSA INVESTIGATE REPORTS OF DEFECTIVE GM SAFETY SYSTEMS

WASHINGTON, DC] – Following alarming reports of defective steering sensors and malfunctioning control systems in several General Motors (GM) vehicle models, U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) called on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to immediately investigate these safety features and, if necessary, issue public warnings.
