Bridgeport News: Stand-Off

2021-07-16 @ 11:15pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Last night was an incident that was being reported as a stand-off or an barricaded incident. Bridgeport Emergency Communication Center received a call that was described as a possible barricaded armed suspect when a woman called indicating a known person threatened her with a weapon and is possibly on-site at the location. To err on the side of safety and based on the callers information, the Bridgeport Police responded with the Emergency Service Units (ESU). Negotiators determined that the male party was no longer on scene.. As a precaution, BPD ESU cleared the house anyway. Police are actively investigating this incident.

Milford News: Fuel Spill

Bridgeport News: Homicide Arrest

#Bridgeport CT-- Last night, members of the Bridgeport Police Department’s Detective Bureau, with the assistance of the Emergency Services Unit, and The Gang Task Force, arrested Dondre Nesmith (DOB: 10/23/1995 of 652 Dewey St) for the July 12th murder of Javier Flores. Search warrants were executed on Nesmith’s home and on his car. During an interview, Nesmith admitted to shooting Flores in retaliation for Flores and another man robbing him and forcing him to strip out of his clothes. Nesmith is charged with Murder. He is being held on a $1,000,000 bond and will appear in court in the morning. This arrest is a result of the hard work by Detective Winkler, who was the lead detective on the case, and…

Norwalk News: Narcotic Trafficking Arrest

On Thursday, July 15, 2021, at approximately 6:00 a.m., the Norwalk Police DepartmentSpecial Services Division arrested brothers Giovanny Padilla and John Padilla afterlocating a large amount of cocaine and money at their residence. A six month long investigation into the brothers’ involvement in narcotics traffickingacross the Greater Norwalk Area provided enough evidence to apply for a searchwarrant of their residence, 133 Monterey Place, building 1, apartment 2.
