On September 15, 2023, officers took a complaint from Lasse’s Restaurant about the theft of cooking oilovernight. Orange PD had made an arrest of 3 males overnight for the theft of oil in their town. After aninvestigation, it was determined that the 3 males were also responsible for the Lasse’s theft. The officer went to Derby court where the males were awaiting arraignment for the Orange arrest and they were chargedaccordingly.

Last month NHRL invited DoingItLocal to its summer competition which will lead to their Final Botdown on September 30th and World Chapionship on November 11. The Milford - Emergency Operations Center (EOC) received a 911 call at7:20pm for a report of a motor vehicle accident (MVA), involving a motorcycleand a truck on I-95. Companies arrived on scene to find the accident to beat I-95 North-Bound, just prior to exit 39-A. The accident was serious,resulting in 1 occupant/rider sustaining life threatening injuries and beingpronounced dead at the scene.
Yesterday was the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Madison Avenue Wakeman Boys and Girls Club. Alumnus/actor/first black superhero Michael Jai White was on hand for the celebration. He said, "Sometimes it's a thankless job. You don't see the results right away. You plant seeds, you change lives, and you do it out of the goodness of your hearts". He then applauded the staff.
