Fairfield Police Arrest Man in Connection with December Overdose Death
Fairfield, CT — The Fairfield Police Department has arrested Connor Dushay, 22, of Milford, in connection with a December 2025 overdose death in Fairfield.
On 12/27/2025, Fairfield Police responded to a residence on Mill Plain Road for a report of an unresponsive male. Despite lifesaving efforts, the individual was later pronounced deceased. An investigation conducted by Fairfield Police detectives determined that the death was the result of acute intoxication due to the combined effects of cocaine, fentanyl, and alcohol.
Through the course of the investigation, detectives developed evidence that Dushay had supplied narcotics to the victim prior to the overdose and tampered with evidence at the scene.
An arrest warrant was subsequently issued charging Dushay with:
Sale of a Narcotic Substance
Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Second Offense
On 3/19/2026, Dushay turned himself in to police, was held on a court set bond of $100,000 and appeared in court on the same date.
This case highlights the ongoing dangers associated with illicit drug use, particularly the presence of fentanyl, a highly potent substance that is often mixed with other drugs and can significantly increase the risk of overdose. The Fairfield Police Department reminds the community that Fairfield is not immune to the impacts of drug use and overdose deaths.
