Norwalk Police Serve Domestic Arrest Warrant On Tuesday, May 5, 2026, Norwalk Police Officers arrested Diedrich Hohn, who was wanted on a family violence arrest warrant. Officers also served Search Warrants at Hohn’s residence and his two vehicles. This investigation began on April 25, 2026, after the victim reported ongoing harassment and threats from Hohn. A restraining order was in place prohibiting Hohn from contacting the victim in any manner. During the execution of the Search Warrant at Hohn’s residence, officers located five glass vials containing unquantified amounts of liquid labeled Nandrolone Decanoate. Nandrolone Decanoate, also known as "Deca," is an injectable anabolic-androgenic steroid classified as a Schedule III controlled substance. Officers also located 186 capsules labeled "Winny." Bridgeport Police arrested a city man on Monday for a 2025 homicide in the Greene Homes. William Davis, 49, was charged with Manslaughter in the Second Degree and Assault of an Elderly Person in the Second Degree in the death of Kevin McKinnon, 61, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, on September 10, 2025. Mr. McKinnon was found dead inside an apartment he had been staying at in Building #2 in the Greene Homes on Friday night of September 12, 2025. Family and friends of Mr. McKinnon went to the apartment after they had not seen or heard from him in more than two days. Sexual Assault Suspect Arrested On November 15, 2025, members of the Norwalk Police Department Patrol Division responded to a report of two juveniles who were sexually assaulted. The suspect was reported to be a former family acquaintance. On April 20, 2026, at 8:59 AM, Norwalk Combined Dispatch received a report of a psychiatric complaint. The caller, who was outside the residence, reported that her 20-year-old son, David Erik Wenger, was inside the home and threatening to harm himself. In October 2025, the Norwalk Police Department Detective Bureau began a financial crimes investigation involving a company that was the victim of a business email compromise scam. The scam caused changes in bank wiring instructions and the diversion of a large sum of money to a bank in Washington rather than to the contractor's bank account. Through a lengthy investigation, multiple search and seizure warrants, and working closely with the contractor and multiple banks, a suspect was identified as Matthew Patterson. The majority of the funds were frozen, seized, and returned. An arrest warrant was obtained for Matthew Patterson.
