Viewers tipped me off to what they described as a raid at Trumbull Gardens tonight. The largest concentration of police was in the 550 block where police were called for shots fired many nights in a row. Many said it sounded like a machine gun but it might very well be a bump stock. No word on any arrests. 2024-07-30@??pm–#Bridgeport CT–

Bridgeport, CT — The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Greater Bridgeport and Vicinity is proud to announce the significant growth of its educational fund, which has been serving the community for over 20 years. This year, the fund has made remarkable strides in its mission to bridge the education and wealth gap in the region.
Under the leadership of Rev. Dr. William D. McCullough, the fund’s president, and the dedicated efforts of the fund’s chairperson, the initiative has seen an impressive increase in both the number of recipients and the scholarship amounts. This year, 29 graduating seniors heading to college each received $1,000 scholarships. This represents a 55% increase in the number of recipients compared to last year and a 100% increase in the amount of each scholarship.
“The growth of this fund reflects our community’s commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of our young people,” said the chairperson. “We are grateful for the generous donations that make these scholarships possible, and we are already receiving contributions for next year’s awards.”
One of the notable aspects of this fund is its efficiency, as there are no overhead costs. This ensures that 100% of the donations go directly to the students.
For those interested in contributing to the fund and supporting the education of future leaders, please contact the chairperson at 203-829-2403.
