His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

State Police Detectives Investigate Norwalk Infant Death 

#Norwalk, CT. (October 6, 2016): State Police detectives from Western District Major Crime are investigating the untimely death of an infant in Norwalk. On October 5, 2016 during the evening hours the Norwalk Police Department responded to 9 Hunters Lane in Norwalk for an unresponsive 4 month old infant. The residence was reported to be a daycare facility. The 4 month old infant was transported to Norwalk Hospital for evaluation where they were later pronounced deceased. On October 6, 2016 at approximately 10:45 a.m., at the request of the State’s Attorneys Office, Connecticut State Police Western District Major Crime detectives responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. The Office of the Chief  Medical Examiner will conduct a post-mortem examination to determine the cause and manner of death. The incident…

Fairfield News: Fairfield Police: No Clown Threats

There has been a recent upsurge in rumors regarding various clowns/clown groups. The rumors have been generated by various social media posts; some indicating that such clowns/clown groups are potentially violent. To date, there have been no threats made against any Fairfield school. Further, recent clown threats made in other communities have proven to be not credible. The Fairfield Police Department regularly monitors a variety of resources for any threats to our community. We are aware of the trending clown rumors and continue to monitor and evaluate social media posts by supposed clowns/clown groups. With Halloween approaching, this issue may intensify. 22 Years After Deadly Crash Improvements Made At Airport

BRIDGEPORT, CT –Mayor Joe Ganim today joined Mayor John Harkins of Stratford, City Council Members and State Lawmakers to reopen Runway 6-24 at Igor. I Sikorsky Memorial Airport. Mayor Ganim boarded a twin engine Wheels Up jet with City Council members Tom McCarthy, Jeanette Herron and Anthony Paoletto to make the first inaugural landing at the new and improved runway.
