His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Fairfield News: Police Involved In Crash

UPDATE: A total of 3 crashes in the area due to slippery conditions. 2:40pm--#cttraffic--#Fairfield CT-- A police cruiser was involved in a crash on Route 58 Black Rock Turnpike just north of North Street.  Radio reports say the cruiser's airbags have been deployed and a van is on its side.  DOT requested to the scene to salt the slippery roadway.  A second crash is reported north of this crash, Easton will be handling that.  Roadway is being closed according to radio reports   This report is made possible by:

Governor’s Proposal Expands State’s Efforts to Combat Opioid Epidemic

#HARTFORD, CT – Governor Dannel P. Fairfield Funny Money

#Fairfield, CT – State Police at Troop G-Bridgeport are seeking the help of the public in identifying two suspects who used counterfeit money at the Fairfield rest area last week. On Jan. 29, 2016, Troopers responded to the Dunkin’ Donuts inside the Interstate 95 Northbound Service Area in Fairfield. An employee reported that a male customer had paid with a suspected counterfeit twenty dollar bill. About ten minutes later, a second male suspect also attempted to pass a counterfeit twenty dollar bill to a different employee, but was unsuccessful. Troopers responding to the scene immediately determined that the first bill was counterfeit. The first suspect is described as a black male in his early twenties, weighing about 130 pounds, with dark skin, a tattoo over his…
