Bridgeport Police Need Your Help
#Bridgeport, CT – Sept 19, 2014 – Detectives are attempting to identify a suspect who tried to hold up a business in the 4200 block of Main Street.Detectives Art Calvao and Kenneth McKenna responded to an attempted robbery that happened shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday at the Uptown News, at 4200 Main St.Detectives secured video footage from the location and are seeking the public’s help in identifying the would-be robber.The hooded suspect entered the store with a plastic grocery bag and a weapon. It is unclear if the weapon was an actual handgun or a facsimile. He ordered the employee to fill the plastic bag with money. When the employee called out for the owner of the business, the robber…
