2022-08-18@ 7:57pm--#Bridgeport CT--Bridgeport ECC received a 911 call regarding a preliminary report of a person in the water near the Seaside Park Bathhouse possibly drowning and screaming for help. Bridgeport Fire & Police Marine Units along with AMR and other BFD and BPD units were dispatched. Sergeant Neary And Officer Goncalves arrived on-scene first. Sergeant Neary was assigned as the Parks Supervisor indicated a man had ran into the Long Island Sound to retrieve his dog. The water was deep and the man began to call for help. Police UPDATE: On 08/18/2022 at approximately 1:30 pm Officers from the Stratford Police Department responded to the area of South Ave and Spada Blvd to investigate a motor vehicle crash.Upon arrival, the investigation determined that a Honda driven by Jamar Blackburn (age 38) of Bridgeport exited I95 south at exit 31 and crashed into a Ford driven by Jason Fonseca- Kennedy (age 26) of Waterbury. Kennedy was traveling east on South Ave.The Ford pickup driven by Kennedy rolled over and the Honda driven by Blackburn came to rest a distance away on Spada Blvd. As a result of the crash, the roadways and associated exit ramp were closed for several hours while investigators managed the scene.On 08/22/2022 the victim, Jason…
